Give Thanks and Volunteer on Thanksgiving

Have you ever broke tradition and tried something new for the holidays?  Well how about volunteering!  We are thankful for so much in our lives and sometimes it’s appropriate to show our appreciation.  The Washington DC area has a lot of volunteer opportunities for people to prepare, serve, and cleanup meals for the poor. There are also other ways to make an impact which include making a donation or participating in fundraising events.

Here are some organizations to contact:

It takes an army of volunteers to assist in kitchen preparations and to deliver complete dinners to 3,500 people on Thanksgiving Day.
